Automated Compliance Evaluation (ACE)
Description
ACE functions as an electronic checklist that evaluators use to record compliance audit findings. ACE contains checklists from numerous program/media protocols that inspectors use to determine a facility’s compliance with Federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Responses are stored electronically to allow environmental managers and other personnel to review the deficiencies identified during the audit and to prepare a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) to correct areas of regulatory noncompliance. The web-enabled version of the software (ACE Online) is deployed on the Marine Corps Environmental Applications Portal (HEAP).
